StepsWeb
StepsWeb is a leading online literacy program used in over 1200 schools in Aotearoa NZ. StepsWeb adapts to each learner to strengthen all of the core skills needed for reading and spelling.
Suitable for ages 5+ through to adults, Stepsweb is evidence based, diagnostic and intuitive, with every activity based on research into how literacy develops. It has a strong emphasis on processing and perceptual skills – catering for all, but ideal for dyslexic and other struggling learners.

Terms & Conditions:
Enrolment in this program implies agreement with these terms and conditions.
Payment can be by internet banking, or manual deposit at Kiwibank. If you make a manual deposit then please add an additional $3 as this is what the bank charges NCHENZ.
You can do one payment for all of the children you are enrolling in a single program, however please do separate payments for different programs.
Payment is required prior to the start date. Non-payment means you are not enrolled in this program even if you have completed an enrolment form.
The payment reference is noted on the enrolment form. If you do not put the correct reference on your payment then access to your subscription is likely to be delayed.
NCHENZ subscription providers require one single point of contact. You must agree not to contact any provider directly about your subscription. For queries, concerns or changes - use the relevant email address for the offer, or email offers@nchenz.org.nz.
To take up any offer you must be a member of NCHENZ and remain a member for the duration of the subscription period. Cancellation of your NCHENZ membership will mean that any subscriptions you already have via NCHENZ (eg. Reading Eggs, Maths-Whizz, etc) will also be cancelled. Once cancelled, subscriptions cannot be reinstated.
Any subscription can be used for a preschooler as long as you genuinely intend to home educate that child. Any child aged 6+ years must have a Certificate of Exemption from the Ministry of Education for the duration of the subscription period.
You must do your own due diligence to determine if this program is suitable for your needs. While NCHENZ is appreciative of being able to offer a number of reduced subscription to members, this should not be seen as an endorsement or promotion of any particular program.
NCHENZ does not give subscription refunds unless there are exceptional circumstances. If you feel you have exceptional reasons for requesting a refund, email offers@nchenz.org.nz or info@nchenz.org.nz. In requesting a refund, please note that NCHENZ may have already paid the supplier for your subscription, so any refund is dependent on NCHENZ being able to ‘re-sell’ your subscription to another member. This may not be at the same price you paid for the subscription. In the case where a refund is approved, the amount will depend on the ‘re-sale’ price and the price NCHENZ paid the supplier for the subscription. Any refund will be paid to the original payer only and a NZ bank account number must be provided. An administration fee of $6/subscription will be deducted from all refunds.
NCHENZ volunteers tend to be unavailable during school holidays, so if you enrol during this period there may be a delay in responding to you. NCHENZ is closed for the summer holidays, 15th December to 15th January each year.
Administrator:
Gin Taylor manages this program. She is a homeschooling mum in Taupō who volunteers on the NCHENZ Executive Committee. She is not employed by the provider of this program. Every single member of the committee is a volunteer. They all have lives outside of NCHENZ, they have children they homeschool, other volunteer roles, part time jobs and a variety of other commitments. Please be kind and appreciative of the service these volunteers offer to you.
