We negotiate bulk subscriptions to some popular learning programs, which we offer to members at a competitive price.
We have developed some templates for self review/reflection, term planning, and record keeping which are free for member use.
We hold online seminars on a variety of topics. These are recorded where possible, so grab a coffee, relax, and press start!
Discover programs to access direct with the supplier, or an affiliate link which gives you a discount online. We also have partnerships with some great organisations such as the SPCA and Hillary Outdoors.
Great for student discounts, but even better for establishing a sense of belonging and community for homeschooled tamariki.
Feel a sense of belonging to a wider community too, and some curriculum providers require evidence of homeschooling.
NCHENZ works alongside Ikura | Manaakitia te Whare Tangata to enable period products to be available to menstruating tamariki who are homeschooled.

Free to members for events or to put in pamphlet holders at local libraries/waiting rooms. Email info@nchenz.org.nz with the quantity you'd like and we'll post it to the address we hold for you on our membership database.
The National Council first surveyed the home education community in 2013, on noticing a distinct lack of data about homeschooling in Aotearoa NZ. We now conduct an annual survey. The Committee uses this information to inform our meetings with the Ministry of Education and the Education Review Office.
