Mathletics
Mathletics is widely used in Aotearoa NZ schools and is suitable for students aged 5 through to 18yrs. The program follows the NZ curriculum, covering all aspects of maths. Mathletics lets students take charge of their own learning, setting them up for success - see their website for more information about the program.

Join any time during Term 3 - $23.65
Join any time during Term 4 - $17.00

Please Note:
You must choose a year level for each child you enrol. Mathletics does not have a placement test. If you don't know what year level your child is at then check here for information about NZ School Year Levels according to age. If you want your child to initially find the program a little easy, then choose a lower year level to start with. You can change this year level up or down by email at any point and as many times as necessary throughout the year, just email mathletics@nchenz.org.nz with your request.
Enrolment Process:
Read the terms and conditions below, and then click the enrolment button below.
Teacher Account Available
A teacher account gives you your own login to a "class" containing your own children. You can use your teacher login to set assignments for your ‘class’ and monitor progress. You can also access and print reports on the work your students have been doing.
A teacher account is $10/yr.
To get a teacher account please choose the option in the enrolment form and add the fee to your subscription payment. If you elect not to have a teacher account, progress reports can be sent to you weekly from Mathletics.
Terms & Conditions:
Enrolment in this program implies agreement with these terms and conditions.
Payment can be by internet banking, or manual deposit at Kiwibank. If you make a manual deposit then please add an additional $3 as this is what the bank charges NCHENZ.
You can do one payment for all of the children you are enrolling in a single program, however please do separate payments for different programs.
Payment is required prior to the start date. Non-payment means you are not enrolled in this program even if you have completed an enrolment form.
The payment reference is noted on the enrolment form. If you do not put the correct reference on your payment then access to your subscription is likely to be delayed.
NCHENZ subscription providers require one single point of contact. You must agree not to contact any provider directly about your subscription. For queries, concerns or changes - use the relevant email address for the offer, or email offers@nchenz.org.nz.
To take up any offer you must be a member of NCHENZ and remain a member for the duration of the subscription period. Cancellation of your NCHENZ membership will mean that any subscriptions you already have via NCHENZ (eg. Reading Eggs, Maths-Whizz, etc) will also be cancelled. Once cancelled, subscriptions cannot be reinstated.
Any subscription can be used for a preschooler as long as you genuinely intend to home educate that child. Any child aged 6+ years must have a Certificate of Exemption from the Ministry of Education for the duration of the subscription period.
You must do your own due diligence to determine if this program is suitable for your needs. While NCHENZ is appreciative of being able to offer a number of reduced subscription to members, this should not be seen as an endorsement or promotion of any particular program.
NCHENZ does not give subscription refunds unless there are exceptional circumstances. If you feel you have exceptional reasons for requesting a refund, email offers@nchenz.org.nz or info@nchenz.org.nz. In requesting a refund, please note that NCHENZ may have already paid the supplier for your subscription, so any refund is dependent on NCHENZ being able to ‘re-sell’ your subscription to another member. This may not be at the same price you paid for the subscription. In the case where a refund is approved, the amount will depend on the ‘re-sale’ price and the price NCHENZ paid the supplier for the subscription. Any refund will be paid to the original payer only and a NZ bank account number must be provided. An administration fee of $6/subscription will be deducted from all refunds.
NCHENZ volunteers tend to be unavailable during school holidays, so if you enrol during this period there may be a delay in responding to you. NCHENZ is closed for the summer holidays, 15th December to 15th January each year.
Administrator:
Gin Taylor manages this program. She is a homeschooling mum in Taupō who volunteers on the NCHENZ Executive Committee. She is not employed by the provider of this program. Every single member of the committee is a volunteer. They all have lives outside of NCHENZ, they have children they homeschool, other volunteer roles, part time jobs and a variety of other commitments. Please be kind and appreciative of the service these volunteers offer to you.
